Memorial services for Mr. Robert O. Vinson, age 69, were held Saturday (Jan. 13) at 11 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home.

Bob was born and raised in Medina, Tenn., to Raymond and Thelma Vinson. He joined the U.S. Navy serving in the Philippines.

Following his military service he returned to Chicago and began working with A&P Bakery. He moved to Phoenix in
1979 and began working for Holsum Bakery where he worked for 27 years before retiring. He moved to Wickenburg in 2003.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Gary and Debra Vinson of Richardson, Texas, and daughter and son-in-law Debra and Rupert Goodrich of Trenton, Tenn.; Companion Peggy Stotz and her extended family; brothers Dewayne Vinson of Medina, Tenn., and Billy Vinson of Humboldt, Tenn.; sisters Wanda, Thelma and Elizabeth all of Medina, Tenn.; Mildred of Ohio and Frances of Illinois; grandchildren Ted and Richard Goodrich, and Laura Gant all of Tennessee, Joshua Purvis of Arkansas and Sean Vinson of Texas; great-grandchildren Katelyn and Theodore Goodrich and great-great-grandchildren Megan Goodrich and Christian Guinn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
