Mildred Logue, 92, of Phoenix, a retired teacher and clerical worker, died April 8, 2003. She was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania February 14, 1911.

After high school, she attended Clarion Teachers College and took her first teaching job in 1931 at the age of 20. She taught primary grade level classes for 35 years retiring in 1966. She moved to Arizona that same year.

She then was employed by Arizona Highways Magazine until 1976 when she re-retired. She was a 55 year member of Delta Kappa Gamma, teachers' sorority. During her years in Arizona she was active with the Dons Club, The Business and Professional Womens' Clubs, and served many years as a volunteer at the Heard Museum. She was a longtime member of Orangewood Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by nephews Karl STEINMAN and Donald STEINMAN of Arizona and a niece and three nephews in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania.

Private services have been held. Interment at Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale.
