| Nancy Rose Smith (November 30, 1936 - March 1, 2009) Nancy Rose Smith, age 72, passed away Sunday – March 1, 2009 in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was born November 30, 1936 in Crownpoint, New Mexico to Harding Negale and Glinny Manuelito. Nancy married Wilfred H. Smith on December 29, 1960 in Richfield, Utah. She worked as an Institutional Cook for the BIA in Holbrook retiring in 1983. Nancy very much loved her home, children and grandchildren. She also loved traveling and camping. Nancy is survived by her children: Jonathan Smith of Holbrook, Rev. Fred Smith of Duchesne, Utah, Wilhelmina H. Ohlson of Holbrook, Willa H. Smith of Holbrook and Winifred H. Whalen of Phoenix; siblings, Lucy Lueppe of Farmington, NM, Mary Saxon of Albuquerque, NM, Steve Negale of Crownpoint, NM, Tommy Negale of Shiprock, NM, Patrick Negale of Zia, NM, Elmer Nez of Crownpoint, NM and Cindy Negale of Crownpoint, NM; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 1st Ave. Holbrook, Arizona.
