Daniel R. Hardwick passed away Jan. 23. He was born May 12, 1948.

Daniel was born in Michigan to Ralph and Connie Hardwick. He grew up in the Detroit, Mich., area. In the mid-1970s he moved to Arizona.

He made his living at what he loved. Rarely would you see him far from the tools of his trade, whether it be masonry, cabinetry, or carpentry. His proudest work was the remodeling of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the design, assembly and installation of their mausoleum, vestibule, and rectory.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Charlotte Hardwick; daughter Dyan Allmon; son Zachariah Hardwick; son-in-law Chuck Allmon; grandchildren, Jake, Zach and Clayton Allmon and Cyra Hardwick; mother-in-law Eleanor Copus-Jenkins; brother Mark Hardwick and family; and sister Shannon Calice and family.

The family will be having a celebration of his life at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge, Sunday, Feb. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. All are welcome.

We all wish him Godspeed on his walk.
