| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 11, 2007, p. A10 Stanley V. Spencer, age 72, passed away April 4 at his residence in Wickenburg. Stan was born July 29, 1934 in Huntington Park, Calif. He was a graduate of Whittier College and came to Wickenburg three years ago from Southern California. Stan was a member of the Christian Science Church of Prescott and after retiring was a dedicated furniture designer and builder. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by daughters Pattilyn Spencer and June Ann Spencer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Pat Spencer of Wickenburg; son Stanley K. Spencer of Huntington Beach, Calif.; grandchildren Danay Huáng (Thai) of Fountain Valley, Calif., Raina Aydelott of San Bernadino, Calif., Nick Aydelott (Janet) of Fullerton, Calif., Kelly Batté ( Chris) of Mesa, Ariz., Meghan Spencer of Costa Mesa, Calif.; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Ella, and Jack Huáng and Max Aydelott. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Stan's memory to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave. Ste. A-100, Phoenix, AZ 85021. Arrangements are under the directions of Wickenburg Funeral Home. |
