The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 2, 2007 p. A14 Ronald L. Freeman, age 66 of Clinton, Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 25 at his home in Clinton. Funeral services were held Friday (April 27) at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. The family suggests contributions be made to Brain Cancer Research or Twin Lakes Hospice in Clinton. Military graveside services were held Monday (April 30) at the Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Ill. Ronald was a career serviceman serving in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. He was a life member of the VFW in Hamilton, Ill., and a life member of the American Legion in Wickenburg, Ariz., where he also belonged to the 40 et 8. He is survived by his wife Rollene of the home; son Charles Freeman of Ingleside, Ill.; and daughter Lori Neimeier of Pleasant Plains, Ill.; step-sons Doug Spackler of Clinton, Mo., and Heath Spackler of St. Joseph, Mo.; step-daughter Debbie Webber of Clinton, Mo.; brothers Donald (Salty) Freeman of LaHarpe, Ill., Gary Freeman of Carthage, Ill., Mike Freeman of Crescent City, Ill., and Dennis Freeman of Keokuk, Iowa; sisters Diane O'Neil and Carol Bern of Canton, Mo., Crystal Withers and Cathy Martens of Rolla, Mo.; grandchildren Jimmie Niemeier, Lucas Niemeier, and Thomas Jacob Wilsey; and step-grandchildren Jason Webber, Meghan Webber, Kyle Spackler, Taylor Spackler, Mason Spackler and Cole Spackler. |
