Brenda “Misty” Kay Pieper departed our world to be with God on May 31.

She was born in Lafayette, Ind., on November 13, 1945.

Misty enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to laugh and joke around. Even though she was in a wheelchair for many years, she didn’t let that keep her down. She still donated time, money, and needed items to many charities. She was so proud each time she could help. She received many awards for volunteering from the Multiple Sclerosis Society and other organizations. Misty was a very giving and generous person. She loved bingo and video poker, taking cruises, fishing and doing her arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Pieper May 10, 2006. She is survived by her sister Fran Jaggers (Dave); her sons Dale Clinton (Sheila) and William Clinton (Barb) all of Frankfort, Ind., and her daughter Teonna Zeller (John) of Wickenburg.

She had six grandchildren and many aunts and cousins and friends. Misty’s request is that any contributions be made in her memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Misty was a dear friend and wonderful person and will be truly missed. The funeral will be Thursday (June7) at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 a.m. with burial at the Wickenburg Cemetery.

David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
