| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona January 20, 2008 Frances LaNell Oliver (Montalvo), 79, passed away January 17, 2008 in Tempe, AZ. She was born in Merkel, Texas, August 13, 1928. She is preceded in death by all 12 of her older brothers and sisters. Frances is survived by her four sons Ed Montalvo of Mesa, Tom Montalvo of Phoenix, Dave Montalvo of Phoenix and Dan Montalvo of Chandler; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Frances was the co-valedictorian of her 1946 graduating class at Buckeye Union High School. She was a graduate of Arizona State University. Frances was a Homemaker and a Teacher. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley. A Memorial was held Monday, January 21, 2008 at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, AZ.
