| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona August 19, 2003 Jeanne Karolyn Nemeth, 79, of Peoria, AZ, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her home Friday August 15, 2003. Jeanne was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Oakland, Ca. Preceded in death by father Julius Wilde in 1941, mother Vivian Murphy in 1961, her loving husband of 42 years, Paul Nemeth Jr. in 1999, brother Mervyn Wilde in 1997, two daughters Judy Kay and Jackie Lee Jones in 1948 and granddaughter Jeanne Francis Jones in 1998. Survivors include three sons, Charles, Stephen and Raymond Jones, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jeanne served In the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii from 1942-1944. Jeanne and Paul sold their home of 34 years in Whittier, CA, in 1994 retiring to Peoria, AZ to be closer to their sons and grandchildren. Jeanne was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family will miss her deeply. Visitation was Thursday August 21, 2003 and services were Friday August 22, 2003 at Sunland Mortuary 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ 85351, The Family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley, 9720 W. Peoria Ave., Suite 128, Peoria, AZ 85345-6133 in lieu of flowers. |
