Janet (Barnes) Nations

Janet Barnes Nations of Paradise Valley, AZ, passed away March 15, 2008. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico January 11, 1935.

She is survived by her husband Herb; sons Kyle and Bryan; daughters Sydney and Kim; sister Nancy and five grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at First Christian Church, Scottsdale on March 22.

Janet graduated from the University of New Mexico and later received a Master's Degree in Education from Arizona State University. She taught school in Albuquerque and later in the Scottsdale Unified School District where she retired. Janet was very active in her church as well as various community organizations. She devoted much of her time to mission work and outreach giving. Janet was a wonderful family caregiver. She will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends who knew her and worked with her.
