| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona May 10, 2006 Norma Jeanette Roth, 86, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2006. The former Norma Nyquist was born to Clarence and Ruth Nyquist in Moline, July 7, 1919. She married Richard A. Roth there in 1939, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1991. Their four children were also born in Moline/Rock Island. Survivors include the children and spouses: Jeffrey B. Roth (Marcia), Scottsdale, AZ; Thomas A. Roth, Scottsdale, AZ; Stephen J. Roth (Charley), Phoenix, AZ; and Patricia L. Merrill (William), Scottsdale, AZ, as well as 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Marilyn Tanzi, Scottsdale, AZ. A graveside Celebration of Life was held Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Foundation (Hospice), 202 E.
