Theodore A. Theodorou

Posted 2009-08-09 by Pat Wilson
In loving memory of Theodore A. Theodorou, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, & friend. He is remembered by all as "a kind man" who dedicated his life to God & to his family without complaint of the hardship he endured. He did not seek personal rewards, but rather thrived on our achievements such as Greek Folk dancing, playing soccer, or getting good grades. His favorite gifts were not watches & rings, but hugs & kisses, our good health, & the look on our faces when he brought home a dog. He was an unselfish man whose care & concern extended beyond his friends & family. His many prayers-and bowls of soup-were offered to help those he didn't even know.

Now in our sorrow, we find stength in the gifts he gave to us. He gave us the drive to succeed, the heart to be compassionate, the love to share & the faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, to guide our souls.

He is survived by his wife, Evangelia daughter, Erine (Gus) son, Andy (Maria) daughter, Anna grandchildren, Teddy, Angelina, Pennie, & Lea. Visitation, Thursday, September 20, 2001, with Trisagion Service at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services, Friday, September 21, 2001, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 East Maryland Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Building Fund, 8202 E.
