| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona May 15, 2008 E.R. "Whitey" White, 80, of Scottsdale returned home to be with his beloved wife Maria Maggiore White on May 13, 2008. He was born December 19, 1927 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and served in the US Navy during World War II. Whitey owned a service station before moving to Arizona in 1965 where he founded White's Refrigeration, remaining active in the industry until his death. Whitey was a wonderful husband and father, and friend to all he met. He is survived by his three children, Marla, Tim and Ed, and nine grandchildren. Dad, we love you. Visitation was Thursday May 15th, 2008, with services Friday May 16th at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ. See Also: Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery |
