| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 09/23/2008 Myrna Wakefield Hansen, 98, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Snowflake. She was born Sept. 14, 1910, in Taylor to Erastis and Hannah Wakefield. On Dec. 19, 1934, she married Orson "J.P" Hansen in the Mesa Temple. She is pre-deceased by her husband and daughter Lyla Hansen. She was a member of the Cow Bells Association. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and jigsaw puzzles. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Sunday School, Primary, Relief Society and always enjoyed calling members on their birthdays. She will be missed by many loving family members including Bonnie Adams, Scott and Wendy Miesel and their children, Valerie, Justin, Chandler and Jessica. Viewing will be Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Paper Mill Road in Taylor, followed by a viewing at the LDS Pioneer Chapel in Snowflake at 10 a.m. with burial at Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery.
