Janet Louise (Farnsworth) Savage

Janet L. Savage, 63, died Dec. 11, 2005 at her home in Snowflake.

She was born Dec. 14, 1941 to Steve and Betty Farnsworth. Janet was a wonderful mother and took special care of her entire family, friends and neighbors. She was always there to help those in need. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved working in the church where she taught Primary and Young Women classes and was essential in family history programs.

Janet is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Dan J. Savage Sr. (who took her the longest to raise); two sons, Dan J. Savage Jr. of Taylor and Andrew J. Savage of Mesa; one sister, Susan Kriter of Snowflake; one brother, Jerry Farnsworth of Port Angeles, Wash.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Farnsworth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Snowflake Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in the Taylor Cemetery.
