Price Page, Jr.

Price A. Page, Jr. was born Sept. 21, 1944 and passed away Aug. 6, 2009.

In loving memory of Price A. Page Jr., who was born in Grand Island, Neb., to father Price A. Page and mother Elthea Page. His family moved from Grand Island to Concord, Calif., where Price grew up with his five brothers, John, Leroy, Edward, Michael, and Terry Page. When he graduated from high school, he entered the Marines.

While in the Marines, he moved up in ranks to Private E1, specializing in radio-telegraph operations. During his service, he was awarded many medals such as a Meritorious Mast Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Rifle Expert Badge M-14. Upon leaving the Marines, Price was married and was blessed with three children - son Robert Page, daughter Laura Molnar, and son Dan Sherman. They were divorced and he moved to Springfield, Ore., and remarried. Price was then blessed with one more beautiful daughter, Kimberly Page.

Price was later divorced and eventually ended up in Wickenburg, Ariz. He worked for APS and was a member of the American Legion Post 12 here in Wickenburg.

Over the years he made and lost many friends. He will be greatly missed by his five brothers. He has adopted more than 55 children from Africa through World Vision and helped more than 100 Jewish families get back to Jerusalem. Everyone that came in contact with him could tell you two things about him: that Price was very close with the Lord and was honored to fight and serve his country.

Price, you touched everyone's heart in a different way, and you will be a man that everyone will miss. Here is one to you, Dad! Love always, your family and friends.

May you always have work for your hands to do, May your pockets hold always a coin or two, May the sun shine bright on your window, May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain, May the hand of a friend always be near you, And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. - Irish blessing

A graveside service will be held Sunday (Aug. 16) at 10 a.m. at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery on Kellis Road.

Arrangements are by David's Desert Chapel Funeral Home.
