| Polly Irene Penrod was born on March 2, 1894. She was the seventh child born to David Israel Penrod and Cynthia Ann Smith. Her first marriage was on August 3, 1916, to Fred B. Powell. They were the parents of Fred Ray Powell. Her second marriage was on October 28, 1921, to William James Walker, son of William Jonston Walker and Etta Maude Lee. William and Polly were the parents of Lillian Marjorie, Sue Narvella, William, Farrell Lee, Cynthia Ruth, Nancy Helen, and James Walter.
