Pryor Forrest Sanborn

Pryor Forrest Sanborn, 84, of Globe, AZ passed away on November 6, 2004. He was born and raised in Chandler on May 17, 1920.

"Sandy" was a past State President of the Future Farmers of America, a World War II veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He attended ASU, loved playing football there. He was a farmer and rancher in the Mesa and Chandler areas. "Sandy" was a past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Mesa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Estelle; son, Mike; and grandson, Wade. He will be missed by his family, friends and his darling wife of 63 years, Marvalene.

He is survived by his wife, Marvalene; 3 sons, Jerry (Darlene), Terry (Marta), Ricki (Becky); 14 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Nov 11, 2004 at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov 12, 2004, also at Bunker's Garden Chapel with visitation one-hour prior to services. Published in The Arizona Republic on 11/10/2004.
