Edward T., Jr. Glascock

Edward T. Glascock Jr. went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2002. He was born in Alton, Kansas on May 30, 1917 to Edward T. and Inez Glascock.

He served his country as a Captain in the Army Air Force and he flew many missions in the South Pacific during WWII. After leaving the military he moved to Phoenix where he met his future wife, Marilyn. He worked for O'Malley's before moving to Payson in 1956. In 1961 he purchased a lumber yard which he owned and managed for 18 years.
During his time in Payson, he was active in many service organizations and clubs. He retired in 1985 and moved to Mesa in 1990.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn, daughters Pamela Kosirog (Jerry), Cynthia Morgan and son Edward T. Glascock III (Susie). He is also survived by his sisters Mildred Harris, Alice Babcock, Corinne Worley and Charline Johnson. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jesse Morgan, Geoffrey and Laura Kosirog, Jasmine and Brett Glascock.

A memorial service was held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2130 E. University in Mesa on Saturday June 29th, 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Banner Hospice at 1325 N. Fiesta Blvd, Suite 1 in Gilbert, AZ 85233. Published in The Arizona Republic June 25, 2002.
