The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 13, 2009 Donald Lee Lingor, age 63, went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday Aug. 11, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. Don was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Aberdeen, S.D. Don retired from Phelps Dodge Mining Company, currently Freeport-McMoran Copper and Gold. He is survived by wife, Barb Lingor; son Greg Lingor of Chandler, Ariz.; mother Gertrude Lingor of Aberdeen, S.D.; sister Marilyn Beckers of Malvern, Pa.; stepsons David Truitt (Brenda) of Elko, Nev., and Mark Cox of Glendale, Ariz.; stepdaughter Tammy Cox of Grand Canyon, Ariz.; and five grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his father, Clem J. Lingor of Aberdeen, S.D., and brother Steven Clem Lingor of Tehlequah, Okla. Services for Don's celebration of life are pending.
