| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Monday, August 10, 2009 Long-time Cottonwood resident Evelyn Young entered heaven Thursday July 31 at the age of 92. She was a member of Verde Baptist Church. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sherry; and son-in-law Don Johnson of Dolores, Colo., and daughter-in-law Carol Young of Clarkdale. Local grandchildren; Cynthia Maves, Barbie Bessler, Suzi Sauder, Ryan Lemons and Randy Young. Local great-grandchildren; Brittany Bessler, Adyson Maves, Jerad Sauder, Nicholas Bessler and Ryanna Lemons. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Young, son Donald Young and daughter Mary Jane Midkiff, all of Cottonwood. Family grave-site services were held at the Cottonwood cemetery.
