Elna K. Watson, 76, of Camp Verde, AZ died July 26, 2009. She was born August 9, 1932 in Lockney, TX to Zoel and Opal Watson.

Elna was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by two brothers, Herbert and Doyl, two sisters, Geneice and Sybol, three sons, Gary, Don, and Steven, two daughters, Deborah and Vicki, nine grandchildren, and three great grand children.

A lifelong learner and scholar, Elna obtained both a Bachelors of Nursing, and a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration. She loved helping and caring for people. She worked as a Registered Nurse for several years at Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital in Cottonwood.

Elna was blessed with many musical abilities. She played piano, and lent her beautiful singing voice to various church choirs over the years.

Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Verde Valley Christian Church located at 3605 Zalesky Lane, Cottonwood, Az.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Elna's name to Hospice of Cottonwood.
