Craig C. Vickers, 57, of Yarnell, Arizona, born in Carlyle, Pa., passed away Aug. 13, 2007, at the Bob Stump VA Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona.

A private cremation will take place at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Arizona and interment at the Prescott National Cemetery at a later date.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.

Craig Charles Vickers, 57 years old, departed to his eternal resting place on Monday, Aug. 13.

He is survived by George and Dolores Dubaskas of Yarnell, brother Joseph D. Dubaskas and family of Selinsgrove, Pa., daughter Christine Pick and two grandchildren of Watsontown, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his biological parents, E. Louise Dubaskas and James Vickers, brother Michael James Vickers USMC, and son Richard Vickers.

Craig was a Vietnam veteran. He contacted Agent Orange, which led to cancer. He spent the last month and a half of his life in the Hospice Unit at the V.A. Hospital in Prescott, Ariz.

Graveside military services with full honors are to be held at the National Cemetery in Prescott. A military chaplain will conduct services. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg with Pastor Greg Werdin officiating.

Donations may be made to the V.A. Hospice Unite in Prescott.
