Ivy (Garner) Amador

Ivy Garner Amador, born August 13, 1976, in Tucson, AZ, went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2004, at her home in Phoenix.

She brought joy and sunshine into the lives of all that knew her.
Ivy leaves behind her devoted husband, Tomas Amador, mother, DeEtta Garner, father, James L. Garner, sisters, Amy Jackson & Kacy Garner, brother, Russell Garner, two nieces, two nephews, her dog, Sunny, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. All love Ivy very much.

Ivy attended Tanque Verde, Emily Gray, and graduated from Sabino High School in 1994. Because of her smile, quick wit, and quirky sense of humor, Ivy was loved by all who knew her. She is loved and admired by the many young women whose lives she touched as camp counselor and as Beehive Advisor in the Young Women's Program.

Ivy attended the University of Arizona until 1997, when she left to serve in the Houston South Mission for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. After her mission, she moved to the Phoenix area to work for America West as a Flight Attendant. She married her dear husband, Tomas, in January of 2002.

The viewing was Friday, April 2, 2004 with funeral services following at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 650 West Southern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 3rd, at the Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 North Center, Mesa, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc.
