| The Wickenburg Sun Wickenburg, AZ August 27,1997, pg A-2 Rachel Johnson of Wickenburg, died Aug. 23 in Wickenburg. She was 76 Mrs. Johnson was born Feb 27, 1921 in Millwood, Ga. She had lived in Arizona for the past 60 years. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Lars and Joy Johnson of Wickenburg and Jerry and Judy Johnson of Wickenburg; grandchildren Lars M. III and Chris Johnson of Phoenix, Curtis A. and Jeri Johnson of Phoenix, Kevin D. Johnson of Wickenburg, Joline and Rick King of Gilbert, Todd and Janis Johnson of Mesa, Janea and Stewart Waite of Tempe and Joy and By Whiting of Mesa; great-grandchildren Matthew, Jennifer and Bryant King,and Chanelle, Tyler, Blake, Codi, Virginia, Lars M. IV, Cassadra, Caserra, Candice, Quinn and Tristen Johnson; brother and sister-in-law Ben and Hannah Thompson of Spring Lake, N.C.; brother-in-law John Savage; sisters-in-law Luela Johnson of Wickenburg , Gertie Johnson of Rosemead, Calif., Urilda Sorenson of Las Vegas, Nev.; and nephews and wives Mark and Gladys Thompson of Jacksonville, Fla., Bill and Linda Johnson of Wickenburg, along with many other nephews and nieces. Private services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Bishop Max Colgrove will officiate. Burial will follow in the Congress Cemetery in Congress.
