(Dec. 10, 1933 - Apr. 12, 2006) Robert was born in Weinert, Texas December 10, 1933. He was the son of Edward Washington "Dutch" and Vera May Boring, former residents of Snowflake. His family moved from Texas to the White Mountain area in the 1940s where they made their home. Robert attended Snowflake High School. After high school he moved to Phoenix and joined the Teamsters. Robert married Helen Schade in 1952 and they had two children, Virginia and Louis. He worked for various trucking and shipping firms including Schade Refrigerated Truck Lines, Milne, JB Hunt and Roadrunner Trucking in Phoenix. In 1955 he was the Arizona State Truck Rodeo Champion. After his retirement, Robert married Lou Ann Kuhn Sept. 21, 2004 and they resided in Clay Springs. He worked as a volunteer for the Love Kitchen in Pinetop. Robert is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Kuhn; son Louis (Linda) Boring Makawao, Maui, Hawaii; daughter, Virginia Boring of Tempe; grandson, Robert Selover of Tempe; step-children, Levi Hancock, Joe (Patty) Hancock, Vance (Candy) Hancock, Anna (Sid) Howard, Monty (Johnny) Spear all of Clay Springs, John (Julie) Kuhn of Tonto Basin and Lou Etta Lippard of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy George Boring; sisters, Otella Lavern Flake, Vera Jewel Sumners Stover and Audrey Fay Johnson. Funeral Services were held Monday, April 16 at the Pinedale ,Clay Springs Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Clay Springs. Burial followed at the R.V.
