(Jul. 16, 1926 - Oct. 18, 2007) Vivian 'Elaine' Brinkerhoff Vivian "Elaine" Brinkerhoff, 81, died Oct. 18, 2007, in Snowflake. Elaine was born July 16, 1926, in Taylor to John and Thelma Frost. She and David Wayne Brinkerhoff were married in Snowflake May 12, 1945. They were sealed in the Snowflake Temple for time and eternity in May of 2002. During her life she lived in Standard, Taylor and Woodruff, but spent most of her life in Snowflake. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1982 she graduated as valedictorian and earned several degrees from Northern Pioneer College in Snowflake. Elaine was the town clerk in Snowflake for over 26 years. She was an artist and she loved to write short stories. She was a great cook and loved hunting and fishing. Her greatest joy, however, came when she was with her family. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Davis (Michael) of Snowflake, and two sons, James David Brinkerhoff (Lynda) of Longview, Wash., and John Wayne Brinkerhoff of Snowflake. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Verlyn Dale Frost of Provo, Utah; and one sister, Emma Lou Green of Snowflake. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. with a viewing from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Snowflake Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be at the Snowflake "Mike Ramsey" Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. See Also: Find A Grave |
