Elizabeth “Betty” Hendrickson

The Lord needed another angel so He called upon Elizabeth “Betty” Hendrickson to fill that need on Jan. 5.

Elizabeth S. Hendrickson was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Swinden, Wilshire, England, to Reginald Vizard and Ada Gibbs Vizard. She was raised there and attended schools there.

She married Marion R. “Dick” Hendrickson on Sept. 15, 1960 in England and they made their home there for a time before moving to the states. They moved to the Wickenburg area in 1968.

Betty was primarily a homemaker but had worked at the Revco store in Wickenburg for over 15 years. In 1979 they moved to Congress.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dick Hendrickson of Congress; daughters Linda of Prescott and Tonya of Lake Havasu; son Gary of Wilhoit; grandchildren Brittany, Garrett, Jordan, Joslyn, Jacob and Brandon.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home.

Arrangements under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
