Keith Deubler went home to be with his Lord on Jan. 4 at the age of 76. Memorial services were held on Saturday, Jan. 7 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg, Ariz., with Dr. John Anderson officiating.

Keith was born on July 29, 1929 in Auburn, Neb., to Carrie and Friedrich Deubler. He attended Midland College in Midland, Neb., and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha, Neb., in 1954.

In 1955 Keith joined the U.S. Army Medical Corps, retiring as a Colonel after 24 years of service. Following his retirement, he moved to Cedaredge in western Colorado, and for the last 12 years has been a winter resident of Wickenburg.

Throughout his life, Keith was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors. He was active in Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg and First Baptist Church in Cedaredge, Colo. He was also involved with AWANA, Prison Fellowship, Pregnancy Resource Center in Delta, Colo., and Life Chain.

Keith's favorite activity, though, was studying the Bible. He spent many hours in preparation so he could clearly teach the Word in Bible studies and Sunday School and model the salvation he found in Christ.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife of 19 years, Beverly Ann nee Sloma. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Anna Jane Deubler of Wickenburg and Cedaredge; son David Deubler of Manhattan, Kan.; daughter and son-in-law Leigh-Ann and Mike Maloney of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law Denise and John Sorensen of Westminster, Colo.; son and daughter-in-law Steven and Donna Deubler of Longmont, Colo.; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 930 N. Tegner, Wickenburg, AZ 85390; First Baptist Church, 370 W. Main, Cedaredge, CO 81413; or Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381.
