Patricia M. Parker, 71, of Wittmann, Ariz., was born Aug. 23, 1934 and passed away on Dec. 20 [2005].

Pat came to Wittmann in 1968. “Aunt Pat,” as she was called by two generations of children, was a Community 4-H leader for 35 years. She taught her 4-H “kids” how to raise and train horses, dogs, chickens, cavies, rabbits and pigeons along with learning to bake and sew.

Pat is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne “Pepper” Parker, Assistant Fire Chief of the Wittmann Fire District.

A memorial to honor Pat's life will be held at the Saguaro Janes Community Center in Wittmann on Feb. 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Call 623-388-2476 for directions. Contributions in Pat's name can be made to the Maricopa County 4-H Office, 4341 E. Broadway Road, Phoenix 85040 or the Arizona Humane Society.
