The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Feb. 8, 2006, p. B10 Memorial services for Raymond P. Krier, age 73, who passed away Jan. 31 in Phoenix, Ariz., will be held today (Wed. Feb. 8) at 1 p.m. at the North Ranch Park Activity Center. Mr. Krier was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Hope Township, Minn., to Raymond C. Krier and Cecilia Christianson Krier. He served in the U.S. Navy, and following his military service married Vivian Erwin on June 16, 1956 in Rochester, Minn. They made their home near Millville, Minn., where Ray worked as a farmer primarily and also worked in construction. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1802 in Zumbro Falls, Minn., and a member of the American Legion Post 579 in Millville. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #2160 in Wickenburg. He and his wife began coming to the Wickenburg area in the 1990s and later settled in North Ranch in 2001. Raymond is preceded in death by children Cindy Maxine Krier and Bruce Lynn Krier. He is survived by his wife Vivian of North Ranch; son Kevin Krier of Mimes, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law Johnny and Sandy Krier of Lake City, Minn. and Raymond H. and Delaine Krier of Millville, Minn.; grandchildren Jeremy, Brandon, Amy, Tony, Alicia, Abby and KaBree and three great grandchildren. |
