A15 Norman Deloyd Vickerman, 70, of Wickenburg, Ariz., died Feb. 2 in Riverside, Calif., of a heart attack while returning home from Disneyland with his brother. He was born on Aug. 9, 1935 in Sioux Falls, S.D. and grew up in Minnesota. He moved to Phoenix in 1972 and settled in Wickenburg in 1993. He was a Korean War Marine Veteran and a life long carpenter with a passion for his trade, still working part time for friends Tom and Pat Stout in Wickenburg up until he passed away. He was preceded in death by father Graydon, mother Norma and brothers Wayne and Lee. Survivors include his brother William of Calif., daughters Sherry Vickerman of Minn., Mary Crossley of Minn., and Jenny Webdale of Ariz., son Mike of Ariz., stepdaughter Teri Cancilliere of Ariz., and stepson Gary Woods of Iowa, 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and many cousins. Our dad's wish was to have his body donated to science and we honored that wish through the Willed Body Program at Western University of Health Sciences in Los Angeles, Calif. A private family memorial will be held in Minnesota later this summer. He was a long time sponsor of a young girl in Ecuador through Children International. Donations may be sent in his name to P.O.
