Survivors are parents Mary and Sam Paintin of Peeples Valley, and brother Ezra. Funeral services are pending at this time. David James Paintin was born on Oct. 16, 1981 in Glasgow, Mont., and passed away at the Arizona Burn and Trauma Center in Phoenix, Ariz. at the age of 24 years, 4 months and 2 days as a result of burns. David was a very loving, happy person who never knew a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in need, whether it was a family member, friend, or just someone down on their luck or stranded somewhere. David is survived by his parents Samuel and Mary (Pelser) Paintin and his brother Ezra of Peeples Valley, Ariz.; grandmother Alice Paintin of Hugh, Colo.; great-grandmothers Vera Smith of Seibert, Colo., and Ruby Thiessen of Loveland, Colo.; and other extended families. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends, in addition to his special friends Cindy and Christy. Services for David James Paintin were held March 30 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wickenburg.
