Lowell (Rich) Blake

Lowell “Rich” Blake passed away March 23 at the age of 79. He met his wife Jean in Lorain, Ohio, and they were married on May 15, 1954.

Rich is survived by his wife Jean, daughters Nancy (Tom) Poltash, Ginny (mike) Kirchner, three granddaughters Katie, Megan and Cory, sister Joan (Bob) Bowser, brother Robert Blake, nieces Barbara, Susan, Becca, Pam, Kathy, Robin, Michelle, Jennifer, and many grandnieces and nephews, and his best friend and cousin Bill Cook.

Rich was a valued member of the Wickenburg community, volunteering at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum and the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce. He also worked on the Cowboy Poets Committee and Film Commission.

Rich was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, serving as a Trustee. Rich worked tirelessly in the community and church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and truly a great friend to all. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 28 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Lutheran Church in his memory.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
