Genevieve (Ramsey) Hammond

Genevieve Hammond, 63, died April 5, 2006 at her home in Snowflake.

She was born in McNary, Aug. 20, 1942. She was raised in Snowflake and attended college at BYU and ASU. She then returned to Snowflake where she worked at the paper mill and for the town of Snowflake. Gen then moved to Mesa to be closer to her daughter and her family. Later she returned to Snowflake to help care for her parents in their later years. She was a friend to everyone and will greatly missed.
Genevieve is survived by her daughter, Mitzi (Kay) Willis of Mesa; three grandchildren, Chad, Brett and Jenny and four sisters, Donna Aylor, Ladon (Bill) Haelbig, Evelynn (Mike) Roth and Vicki Ramsay.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Minnie Ramsey.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 10 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Snowflake Main Street Chapel with a visitation one hour prior at the church and from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 9 at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Burial will be in the Snowflake Cemetery.
