The White Mountain Independent Show Low, AZ 09/27/2005 Luana Hall Shaw, 91, passed away Sept. 26, 2005 in Snowflake. She was born January 27, 1914 in Taylor to William H. & Emma Matilda Rogers Hall. Luana lived in many parts of Arizona and was loved by all who knew her. She especially loved the Indian people as she lived more than 25 years of her life on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation where she worked for Simpson's Mercantile and later cared for children in her home. Upon her husband Frank's retirement, they moved to Snowflake where she resided until her passing. Luana is survived by her son, Lonnie Frank Shaw; two daughters, Antionette (Tony) West and Enid Shaw Livingston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Shaw; son, William Peter and daughter, Constance Yevonne. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Snowflake Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a viewing one-hour prior to services at the Church. Interment will be in the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
