Geneva (Rogers) Willis

Geneva Willis, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside.

She was born and raised in Snowflake where she lived all her life.

Geneva was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which she served in many capacities. Geneva and her husband France enjoyed dancing and traveling. They were great lovers of the outdoors.

Geneva is survived by her husband, France M. Willis of Snowflake; four sons, Kent (Hazel) Willis of Buckeye, Warren (Cathy) Willis of Oklahoma City, Okla., Dana (Brenda) Willis of Tucson, Tony Willis (Melissa) of Mesa; daughter, Francine (Steve) Barton of Auburn, Wash.; brother, Daryl (Betty) Rogers of Winslow; three sisters, Mabel Wilhelm of St. Johns, Nyla (Rodney) DeWitt of Phoenix, Linda (Jim) Andersen of Gilbert; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Snowflake Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, interment was in the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.

Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
