Dwight E. Regnier

Dwight E. Regnier, born in 1931, passed away on Dec. 12, 2007, after a long illness.

He was a Master Sergeant in the Marines and a decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was one of few survivors of the Chosan Reservoir Battle in Korea. He worked for several years under the State Department directly with the Vietnamese people, for whom he developed a great respect.

Dwight was much loved by his wife, Jeanne; his children, Bob Ellis and April and Rolf Siegwolf.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 in the VA Hospital Chapel.
