| Mary Jo Merriman, 75, of Fountain Hills died Sunday, Oct. 7, in Scottsdale. She was born June 22, 1932 in White Pines, Tenn. and was a long-time resident of Fountain Hills. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Merriman is survived by a son, Michael Merriman (Patty) of Scottsdale; three daughters, Trudy Hammond (Bill) of Scottsdale, Patty Schwebke (Kirk) of Poplar Grove, Ill., and Jackie Merriman of Phoenix; six grandchildren, Tricia, Brian, Kelley, Katie, Shauna and Casey; and one great-grandchild, Brody. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald (2000) and daughter, Vicki (1999). A private family service was held. The family is requesting memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Published October 10, 2007, in the Fountain Hills Times. |
