Graham “Ben” Bendall passed away peacefully Aug. 21, 2007 surrounded by his family. Ben was born April 6, 1940 in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. Ben lived life to the fullest; he was an upbeat, fun-loving gentle man who left an impression on those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His appetite for life was immense. Ben enjoyed a lifetime career in the aircraft industry, the majority of those years with TWA. His career with the airlines eventually led him to meet his wife, Jill, and they have been residing in Fountain Hills for the last 12 years. Those who were fortunate enough to be a part of Ben’s family include: His loving wife Jill; son Kevin and wife Debbie of Celebration, Fla.; daughter Diane and husband Ian of Bournemouth, UK; daughter Tanya and husband Seth of Encinitas, Calif.; daughter Shannon and husband Bob of San Diego, Calif.; mother-in-law Elsie Parkin of Scottsdale; brother-in-law Tony and nephew Scott of UK; sister-in-law Wendy and her husband Michael of Scottsdale; niece Shea and husband Marc and their two children Jessica and Samantha of Scottsdale. Ben was also a doting grandfather of five wonderful grandchildren: Craig, Danielle, Ryan, Megan and Evan.
