| Nicholas Joseph Wasnik, 64, of Fountain Hills died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea hospital. Mr. Wasnik was born Nov. 12, 1942 in Syracuse, N.Y. He worked as a general contractor in construction, and was a U.S. Army veteran that served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Fountain Hills and was a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Wasnik is survived by his wife, Brenda Wasnik of Fountain Hills; two daughters, Renee Wasnik-Soto (Ruben) of Fountain Hills and Nadine Wasnik, also of Fountain Hills; his sister-in-law Deborah Marnell (Marcus) of Scottsdale, and several cousins. He will be missed by his family, friends and animals. A memorial mass was held Wednesday, July 18, at Church of the Ascension. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E.
