Calvert Larry Sanchez

Calvert Larry Sanchez, 78, of Whiteriver entered into eternal rest Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at the Indian Health Service in Whiteriver, surrounded by his family.

Calvert was born in Whiteriver Oct. 11, 1930. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Calvert will be brought back to his residence, 610 Southwest, Canyon Day, for a two-night awake Friday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m.

A home service will be held Sunday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. at the family residence in Canyon Day with Pastor Valentina Begay officiating.

Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery.

Calvert is remembered and loved by his brothers Lincoln Sanchez and Walter Sanchez Jr.; sisters Veda Alchesay, Blossom Birdcreek and Regina Palmer; niece Rhodesia Harvey; nephew Ardie Harvey; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Ira Sanchez.

Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
