The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, August 20, 2009 Vyrion E. Davis, 82, of Sedona died August 16. He was born June 25, 1927 in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Roy J. and Bertha Davis. He was a graduate of Odesa High School. He served his country in the Army earning the rank of Sergeant during the Korean War He was self employed as owner of Metal Specialities, Inc. He was a member of the Village of Oak Creek Nazarene Church and enjoyed woodworking. He leaves his wife of 58 years Eltie Davis; daughters Sue Albritton, Ellen Gentals, and Terry Notgrass; sisters Evelyn Cupp, Sue Norwood and Jeanne Bingham; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22 in the Church of the Nazarene, Village of Oak Creek at 2 p.m. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com Information provided by survivors. |
