The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, August 18, 2009 Leonard C. Silvern, 90, of Clarkdale, died August 14 at his home. He was born May 20, 1919, in New York City, New York, the son of Ralph and Augusta Thaler Silvern. He served his country in World War II in the Navy. Mr. Silvern was worked in systems engineering in education. He leaves his wife Gwendolyn; a son, Ronald P. Silvern of Phoenix. A private family service will be held at a later date.
