| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 27, 2009 Marilyn Louise Shotwell, born June 2, 1936, in Indiana, passed away Aug. 22, 2009, at the age of 73. She had one daughter, Vicki Shotwell, and son-in-law Tom Ver Steeg, both from Mayer, Ariz. Marilyn had two brothers, Mel Gregory of Scottsdale and Larry Quick of Sun City West, and one sister, Shirley Goss of Prescott. Marilyn was very active at the Villages where she lived these last 8 years. She wrote poetry, plays and was involved in the drama and recreation clubs. She held many positions on the board. Her celebration of life will be held Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Villages at Lynx Creek, Dewey, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of the Pines, 13175 E. Hwy. 169, Dewey, AZ 86327 in Marilyn's name. Words cannot express how much she will be missed! She was "So Special" to everyone. Information provided by survivors. |
