Geraldine (Allen) Holford

Geraldine Ann Holford passed away on July 16, 2009 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ; at the age of 66. She was born on February 20, 1943 in Jackson County, MO; to Jeremiah and Anna (Slaughter) Allen.

Geri and her family moved to Southern California, where she attended and graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, CA.

Geri married Leroy Holford on July 31, 1965. They moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; from Saginaw, MI; 32 years ago. She recently retired from Walmart in Lake Havasu City after over 19 years of faithful service.

Geri enjoyed spending time on her computer, playing games, loved playing card games with her family and will always be remembered for her deviled eggs. She was a loving mother and wife, a very simple and caring person who was devoted to her family.

Geri is survived by her loving husband of almost 44 years, Leroy; son, Clifford Holford of Louisiana; sisters, Gloria McCutcheon of Riverside, CA; Laura Andreoli of Ventura, CA; and Ruth Eranio of Bullhead City, AZ; as well as five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Words of wisdom and inspiration will be expressed by Father Chauncey Winkler. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
