The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 09/04/2009 Marilyn K. Crawford, 62, of Snowflake passed away on Aug. 31, 2009, in Lakeside. She was born July 24, 1942, to Harold E. and Myrtle Christensen Chapman in Phoenix and lived in Arizona all of her life. She graduated from North High School in Phoenix and attended Glendale Community College. Marilyn married the great love of her life, Bill Crawford, and was sealed to him on Dec. 9, 1960, in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marilyn dearly loved horses and had horses since the age of 24. She also owned her own business, Hills of Arizona, where she lovingly cared for the physically and mentally challenged and assisted them to be able to live on their own. She is survived by her husband, Bill, and their four children, Steven and Kevin Crawford, Kimberle Thacker and Janene Gravitt. Marilyn and Bill are the grandparents of 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. A viewing was held Thursday, Sept. 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. Funeral Service will be held Friday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m., at the Main Street Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake. Interment will be at the Mike Ramsey Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake following the funeral service. Arrangements are being handled by Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. See Also: Find A Grave |
