| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 10, 2006, p. A14. Irine Joyce Pierce, 55, passed away on May 1 at her home in Wickenburg. She was born Feb. 8, 1951 in Harrisburg, Penn. She married Richard Pierce on Dec. 5, 1969 and made their home in Harrisburg. Later they moved to San Bernardino, Calif., and then to Wickenburg in 1980. She loved fishing and family. She was mostly a homemaker, but had worked in housekeeping at several local motels. Irine had been ill for the past five years, but now she is free to see all the places she wanted to visit. She is preceded in death by infant daughter Tammy. She is survived by husband Richard, Wickenburg employee of Woody's Car Wash; son Adam of Wickenburg; brothers Donald and Bob Werner of Pennsylvania and Richard Werner of Phoenix. Services will be held Saturday (May 13) at 3 p.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to send donations to the Pierce family to help defray funeral expenses.
