The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 26, 2006, p. B6 No formal services will be held for Mrs. Ruth Heine, age 91, who passed away July 21 in Sun City West. Ruth was born June 4, 1915 in Glen Ellyn, Ill., to Fred and Agnes Zundell. She was raised there and attended school there. She married Harold Heine and they made their home in the Elmhurst, Ill., area. They owned and operated a Dodge dealership there for years. Upon selling the business they came to Wickenburg in 1952. Ruth had served in various organizations in the community. She was a “Pink Lady” at the Wickenburg Community Hospital for years and also a member of Las Damas. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1999, as well as daughters Trisha Heine Strick and Barbara Beecroft and son, Carl Heine. She is survived by daughter Carol Dittmer of Wisconsin and grandchildren Art Pfluger of Morristown, Cathy Reinke of Elkhorn, Wisc., Russell and Edward Pfluger both of Wisconsin, Ron Beecroft and Kim Olliva of Villa Park, Ill., and Robert Beecroft of Downers Grove, Ill., Susan Heine, Nancy Heine and Steven Heine. and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Arizona Heart Institute. Arrangements under the direction of the Wickenburg Funeral Home. See Also: Harold (Husband) |
