William and Justin Agnew

Funeral arrangements are pending for William C. “Bill” Agnew and his son, Justin C. “J.C.” Agnew who passed away Sunday as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Bill owned and operated Agnew Automotive in Wickenburg. His son, J.C. was a student here in Wickenburg.

They are survived by wife and mother Deborah Agnew of Wickenburg, daughter and sister Nicole Agnew of Wickenburg, daughter and sister Jennifer of Georgia, mother and grandmother Flora Agnew, sister and aunt Kathy McLaughlin of Prescott, brother and uncle Mike Agnew of Wickenburg, and grandparents Bill and Gloria Pomplum of Wisconsin.

They were preceded in death by father and grandfather Robert Agnew on July 28, 2006.

Memorial services will be held at Mount Hope Assembly of God Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday (August 5).

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for William C. “Bill” Agnew who passed away Sunday as the result of a motorcycle accident were held Saturday, August 5 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Hope Assembly of God Church.

Bill was born and raised in Phoenix and attended schools there. He began working as a mechanic soon after high school. He married Deborah Pomplun August 5, 1989 in Milwaukee, Wis., and they made their home in West Allis, Wis. While there he worked as a manager for Whitlock Auto Parts store.

They returned to Wickenburg in 1996. Bill began working for Jones Ford until 2001, when he acquired his present business location and established Agnew Automotive.

He enjoyed vintage cars and motorcycles. He loved to spend time at Box Canyon with the family, grilling hot dogs and hamburgers. He loved to ride his Harley and was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).

Bill is survived by wife Deborah Agnew of Wickenburg; daughter Nicole Agnew of Wickenburg; daughter Jennifer of Georgia; mother Flora Agnew; sister Kathy McLaughlin of Prescott; brother Mike Agnew of Wickenburg; and grandparents Bill and Gloria Pomplun of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Agnew on July 28, 2006.

Justin “J.C.” Agnew
Memorial services for Justin “J.C.” Agnew who passed away Sunday as the result of a motorcycle accident were held Saturday, August 5 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Hope Assembly of God Church.

Justin Agnew, known as J.C., was born on July 9, 1993 in West-Allis, Wis. He came to Wickenburg with his family in 1996. He began school at MacLennan School and was a student at Vulture Peak Middle School, completing the seventh grade.

J.C. enjoyed skateboarding and was a member of the school band. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dad and sister at Box Canyon. He was involved in Karate and off-road motorcycles. J.C. was very mechanically inclined, always building bicycles and other mobile contraptions. He was a “neat freak” in that he was always organizing his room and personal belongings. He loved his friends and enjoyed the time he spent with them.

Justin is survived by his mother Deborah Agnew of Wickenburg; sisters Nicole of Wickenburg and Jennifer of Georgia; grandmother Flora Agnew of Wickenburg and great-grandparents Bill and Gloria Pomplun of Wisconsin; aunt Kathy McLaughlin of Prescott and cousins Karen, Janet, and Steven McLaughlin; uncle Mike Agnew of Wickenburg; uncle Steve Pomplun of Milwaukee, Wis.; aunt Suzanne Krystosek of West Bend, Wis.; great-aunt Betty Sturm of Tomball, Texas; cousins Matt, Jeff, Gina, Jade and Faith Sturm of Tomball, Texas; Douglas Krystosek of Fremont, Calif. and David Krystosek of Milwaukee, Wis.

Justin was preceded in death by his father Bill Agnew and grandfather Robert Agnew both of Wickenburg.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
